Southern Company reported an insider ownership-change filing involving Matthew M. Kim, with the reported transaction date listed as July 1, 2026. The security identified in the filing is Southern Company common stock. The Form 4 was filed on July 2, 2026, and was signed by Brittney Anderson as attorney-in-fact for Kim. However, the document text provided does not include the transaction table that normally specifies the substance of a Form 4 report—such as whether the insider acquired or disposed of shares, the number of shares involved, the price, the transaction code, or the insider’s beneficial ownership following the transaction. As a result, the filing confirms that Kim reported a change in beneficial ownership of Southern Company common stock as of July 1, 2026, but it does not provide enough detail to determine the nature or size of the transaction. No vesting information, option exercise details, indirect ownership explanation, or post-transaction share ownership totals are included in the available text.
